Traffic surveys and counts along several sections of the Aegean Motorway

In order for the Aegean motorway simulation traffic model to be updated, POLINDE was commissioned over various time periods to undertake traffic surveys along several sections of the Aegean Motorway. Depending on the needs of the client each time period, POLINDE undertook surveys such as: Manual Classified Counts, Automatic Traffic Counts and Origin - Destination Surveys (Road Side Interviews), Origin-Destination Number Plate Recognition surveys, Turning Movement Counts at the junctions, Analysis and Codification of the Results and the Traffic Counts.
