Study for the Identification of Reliable Speed Limits on four national roads: Antirrio - Ioannina, Patra - Pyrgos, Thessaloniki - Strymonas, Northern Road Axis OF Crete (Greece)

Detailed review of the geometry of the road arteries was undertaken both in terms of horizontal and vertical alignment. The black spots of the arteries were identified then and lastly efficient speed limits were determined for the entire length of the arteries (Antirrio-Ioannina, Patra-Pyrgos, Thessaloniki-Strymonas and North Road Artery of Crete). POLINDE undertook the determination efficient speed limits for these four key road arteries across Greece.
