Technical Assistance “Orient/ East-Med Corridor, Road R4, Construction of Bar-Boljare Highway: Feasibility Study with Cost Benefit Analysis” (Montenegro)

This project aims to the development of a Feasibility Study for Bar – Boljare Highway (BBH) in Montenegro, including a Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), the Conceptual Design of the highway, the Preliminary Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (PESIA), as well as the development of a Roadmap for the implementation of the whole highway. Within this study, POLINDE undertakes the development of a traffic model forecasting the traffic demand on the examined corridor. Alternative layouts of the corridor and different implementation scenarios are examined, whilst the traffic demand is estimated for each of them. The traffic model is developed using the software VISUM.
